About
My research focuses on problems of magnetic reconnection, energy release, heating and particle acceleration in solar and heliospheric plasmas. Recently I have been working on modelling reconnection-induced ion acceleration at the Heliospheric Current Sheet close to the Sun, to match observations from missions such as Parker Solar Probe. I am also interested in the modelling of explosive events in the low solar atmosphere – the chromosphere – in conditions of partial ionization.
