Hello! My name’s Zach and I’m a first-year grad student at IfA Mānoa. I was born in Canada but mainly grew up in Boston before going to the University of Arizona for undergrad.  
 
My research interest is exoplanets and brown dwarfs. My work in undergrad was on simulating direct imaging missions in search of Jupiter-mass planets (and smaller).
 
In my free time, I love to swim, hike, garden, paint, and play chess.
