About

I work on the development of new instruments to improve the performances of observational astronomy. In the past, my work has involved spectro-polarimetry instrumentation for solar astronomy with Haosheng Lin, SWIR cameras characterization for ESA and optical design for interferometry with Antoine Labeyrie.

I currently work with Michael Bottom on photon counting infrared detectors for space astronomy and also with Haosheng Lin on instrumentation for solar astronomy and spectroscopy of active spotted stars.

Besides astronomy, I enjoy hiking and surfing which A BIT contributed to moving to Hawaii. I also believe we, as astronomers, can and should make a positive impact on climate issues and the current decline of biodiversity.
